here it is guys.
this is what darth frosty was talking about in his post the other day (http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/149460/1.ashx).
this is a collection of confidential letters from the watchtower society that were sent to the bodies of elders in the years 1981 through 2006. these are the letters that you were never meant to see or read.. there's all sorts of information in them ranging from the boring and mundian to instructions about how to handle child molesters.. many thanks to darth frosty and others (who i'm not sure can be named) who worked very hard and took risks to collect and scan the information.
WOW! Thanks so much! This should make for some interesting reading!

here's a paragraph from a friend who is active.
they say it's important that we fill out this form about emergencies... poor fools.
"hi, i have been meaning to tell you that the society is telling us to fill out an emergency form that the book study conductors have and return it to them in case of an emergency.they will then give us a brochure to have that will tell us where to meet and what to have in our bags so we can grab them and leave in a hurry.
That makes me angry! They are just so brainwashed! One more thing they put into place to make people think the end is right around the corner...the ones that are loosing faith or becoming more lax in their worship may be whipped into a frenzy once again. Rubbish!!

my wife's maid of honor at our wedding- married a worldly guy and left the religion .
after years of pioneer service.. my wife's former best friend from her single days as a teen- grew up to leave the .
religion entirely, came back for a brief stint, left again.. my wife's most current former best friend- is now a fringe jw, as she has been .
Keep on hoping!!
The first scenario about your wife's best friend leaving and marrying a worldly guy after years of pioneer service, sounds exactly like me! I had to check to see where you were from...Anyhow, if I left, anyone can leave. I was a very devout JW who never thought I would leave, and no one else could believe it either. You just never know. Don't give up hope!

update on my jw friend.

ok, so she comes over tonight and we start discussing the child abuse cover up.
GREAT job!! I wish you the best of luck!

so the big "national " news release has come and gone.
it was huge in that this time it definitely hit the ears and eyes of witnesses as well as others who know witnesses, or have relatives who are in it .
on a " national " scale this is a lot of people.
I am waiting for the opportunity to talk to my brother - I'm not sure when this will happen, but it will happen sooner or later. My bro listens to me despite all the "warnings" he gets about me b/c I left the religeon. I will tell him about this b/c I am not certain he knows. I am sure he will make some excuse like he always does but I am planting seeds...I'm keeping my fingers crossed it will work one of these days. Slowly but surely I am picking away...

i have been reading the forum the past couple of days, actually i am finding it hard to pull myself away.
i stumbled upon it by accident - searching some thing lead to another and another and here i am.. 3rd generation ex-jw here.
got out fairly young.
Hello and welcome to the forum! Thank you for sharing with us, and I am so sorry about the loss of your brother!! May you find the love and the peace that you seek!
Yours truly,

just wondering, cuz it's so often espoused by those doing the shunning that disfellowshipping is a "loving arrangement," and there must be tons of "testimonial" literature from the borg saying so; however, when i was a jw, i don't recall ever once hearing a previously d'f''ed one giving witness to how loving it was.
I think it's a bunch of crap!! No good can ever come of it. Not to be crass or anything, I'm just saying...I know of several DF'd ones that never returned, despite the whole thing being designed to bring those ones back - it doesn't work. My friends just think it's a joke, as do I.

a producer with nbc in new york called within the past hour to tell me that the segment i interviewed for (once in nashville, tn in august and once in washington, dc in october) is set to air tonight on nbc nightly news with brian williams, that is, if no huge calamity takes place to bump the feature.
this piece will be two minutes and 45 seconds long, the longest slot nightly news has for topics of interest, and will feature a discussion about the court documents that are found on the cd i recently produced, "secrets of pedophilia in an american religion, jehovah's witnesses in crisis.
in addition, nbc's internet site, msn, will follow with a detailed story.
Well done Barbara, hopefully it sinks into the minds of those who need it - all JW's!!

hello folks, mr. flipper the pot stirrer here again.
no, not really, i was easy on the old guy.
at our post office in our home town there every day is an approximately 65 to 70 year old witness man who stands next to the post office entry door with the magazines wt & awake.
Great job Mr. Flipper!
Please continue to spread the word b/c as mentioned, most JW's don't/won't hear about these settlements! I tell everyone I can about it too, but I don't usually get much contact with JW's themselves. You better believe I'm going to mention it when I do get the chance though.
Keep up the good work!
